The resident of this apartment is a PBS Emmy winner, writer and blogger. The challenge for this project was to design the space to accommodate up to three interns working at the same time, but to still use the second bedroom for sleepover guests. Our client also needed a separate work area for herself, and a table for both conferencing and dining. The apartment was streamlined with carefully selected light and airy furniture and fabrics and custom rugs. New furniture was selected from both high end and internet sources to maintain a very tight budget. Refurbished existing furniture and art blend seamlessly together with the new items. The space now functions as both an efficient working space and a lovely stylish home.
