Whether the budget is high or low, WLI is committed to providing all of her clients the design direction and selection of materials that are constant with their point of view. Willie takes advantage of her clients’ existing furniture, artwork, and accessories and showcases them in a new and meaningful way while integrating them with newly discovered items to create a unique and appealing collection and a collaboration between designer and client that endures long after the project is complete.

WLI has designed a variety of projects for residences, corporations, retailers and private clubs both as an independent consultant and as part of corporate and architectural firms. Willie Landau defines the user’s requirements and establishes the scope of work, space plans and designs interiors. Concepts are  presented through the use of layout drawings and sample boards. Materials are specified and purchased with client approval in adherence to their established budget. All materials are expedited until installation is completed to the satisfaction of the client.

NEGOTIATION

As a purchasing specialist for the hospitality industry, WLI not only meets the approved budget for design related goods and materials but makes substantial dollar savings against initial cost projections and actual purchases. Savings are achieved through the use of competitive bid analysis, strong negotiation techniques, creative problem solving, and obtaining extensive knowledge of product and sourcing.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

WLI works with suppliers to bring design from concept to specification to production. With Willie Landau’s design background WLI has the ability to translate design consultant’s ideas into reality by understanding production capabilities and limitations but with the personal eye of a trained and experienced design professional that respects the design integrity of the project.

It is the firm’s commitment to provide the best possible product within budgetary guidelines while viewing a project in its entirety with respect for every detail.

QUALITY CONTROL

Both prior to and after a contract has been awarded, WLI will make frequent factory inspections in order to maintain quality control during the fabrication stages and ensure that production schedules are consistent with the user’s installation requirements.
