The husband, an international attorney, wanted a very formal apartment. His wife, a benefactor and fundraiser for the New York Ballet, required a space that would function as a place to host cocktail parties and auctions. A paramount consideration was that the spectacular views of Central Park from every room could not be obstructed and to remain a living landscape. The original apartment was completely gutted and renovated to meet all criteria. WLI designed and purchased all spaces. A spectacular feature of the apartment is a center hall dome with custom artwork and Venetian Marble wall finish. The apartment meets all of the design requirements and is a stunning reflection of the needs and desires of this wonderful client.
